Christoph Peters

Christoph Peters is a Professor for Digital Process Management at the Faculty of Business and Organizational Sciences, Bundeswehr University Munich, since October 2024. He focuses on the design of human-centered, AI-based processes and services.

His research emphasizes Artificial Intelligence, Process Management, and Service Innovation, with a recent article in Electronic Markets on 'Conceptualizing hybrid intelligent service ecosystems' highlighting trends in AI-based processes, Trustworthy AI, and Digital transformation.

He leads the EXIST-funded project 'Nexagen', aiming to automate administrative processes in skilled trades to address workforce shortages. The project is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the European Social Fund (ESF).

As part of the Faculty of Business and Organizational Sciences, he mentors formal advisees and leads a team including Melanie Carapacchio, who joined in December 2024. He also organized an interdisciplinary workshop on 'Trustworthy AI' at CODE and presented at the German Forum for Service Research (DF)² conference in Berlin (2024).
