Prof. Dr. Christoph Lengwiler is a Professor at the Lucerne School of Business, part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Since 2018, he has served as an External Lecturer and Head of Executive Education Programs. He also acts as a financial and corporate advisor (Legrafin AG). His career includes leadership roles such as Director of the Institute for Financial Services Zug (IFZ) from 1997–2017 and Deputy Director of the Institute for Business and Regional Economics (IBR).
Education: Studied Economics at the University of Zurich, with a dissertation on banking strategy and cooperation. Professional competencies span finance, corporate governance, and public finance. Current mandates include Vice President of the Berner Kantonalbank (BEKB/BCBE) Supervisory Board, member of the Investment Committee of the Luzern Equalization Fund (WAS), and member of the Expert Committee of Inrate Ratings.
Past roles include Board Member of the Swiss National Bank (SNB), Member of the Executive Board of KBA-NotaSys Integrity Fund, and Canton Council Member of Canton Luzern.
