Christoph Lambert

Prof. Dr. Christoph Lambert serves as Professor and Chair of Physical Organic Chemistry at the Institute of Organic Chemistry within the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Würzburg. His research group maintains an active laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment for advanced chemical analysis and experimentation. The group is housed at Am Hubland, 97074 Würzburg, where they conduct cutting-edge research in molecular spectroscopy and electron transfer processes.

Lambert's research focuses on the fundamental physical processes in organic molecules, particularly examining electron transfer mechanisms, spin dynamics, and molecular electronic properties. His work bridges theoretical chemistry with experimental validation through advanced spectroscopic techniques. The research group investigates how molecular structure affects electronic properties and charge transfer processes, with applications in molecular electronics and energy conversion systems.

The group also teaches the Master Course FMM-MP (Materialwissenschaftliches Praktikum, Schwerpunkt Funktionsmaterialien), providing hands-on training in modern materials science for graduate students.
