Christoph Klahn is an Assistant Professor (Junior Professor) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), affiliated with both the Institute of Mechanical Process Engineering and Mechanics and the Institute of Micro Process Engineering (IMVT) where he leads the ADD group. His academic background includes a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (2008) and Doctor of Engineering (2015) from TU Hamburg-Harburg, with a dissertation on laser additive manufacturing.

He currently leads the ADD research group at IMVT, advancing innovation in micro process engineering through computational design and manufacturing technologies.
