Christoph Günther is a Full Professor at the Chair of Communication and Navigation within the TUM School of Engineering and Design at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He also serves as Director of the Institute of Communication and Navigation at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since 2003.

- PhD in Theoretical Physics, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (1984)

- Satellite navigation systems
- Communication theory and signal processing
