Dr. Christine Stedtnitz serves as a Senior Consultant at the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services (CSES) and as an Hourly paid lecturer in the Department of Political Economy, School of Politics and Economics, at King's College London. With over a decade of experience, she collects and analyzes qualitative and quantitative data for research projects across European countries.
Her academic credentials include:
- PhD in Government from the University of Essex
- MA from the University of Konstanz
Christine's research interests encompass behavioural science, digitalisation and AI, education and culture, employment and social affairs, EU politics, foreign interference in EU democracies, human rights, innovation and entrepreneurship, justice and home affairs, local and regional economic development, misinformation, political communication, political psychology, public health, and public opinion. Her work investigates how personal circumstances shape political thinking, including studies on political debates, misinformation, status threat, fact-checking, and policy decisions under uncertainty.
Currently at CSES, she contributes to studies for European public sector clients, such as research on foreign interference in EU democracies, new audit technologies, and the gender investment gap for women-led companies. She has also evaluated projects for the Council of Europe and the EU on human rights in biomedicine and technical support for reforms.
