Christine Rinik

Christine Rinik is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law at the University of Winchester, affiliated with the Faculty of Law, Crime and Justice. She holds a BS and MS in Engineering, a JD from Harvard Law School, an LLM from the University of Cambridge, and specialized certificates in Intellectual Property Law and EU Competition Law.

Her research focuses on data protection, fiduciary duties in commerce, and the intersection of technology with criminal justice systems. She co-convenes the Centre for Information Rights, emphasizing practical applications of legal principles in modern contexts.

Teaching includes modules on Intellectual Property, EU Law, and Trusts, integrating her professional experience as a commercial attorney in the US and UK, including roles at multinational corporations and the University of Minnesota’s Technology Transfer office.
