Christine Le Scanff is a Professor at Université Paris-Saclay and Director of the Graduate School of Sport, Movement and Human Factors. She is affiliated with the Complexity, Innovation, Motor Skills and Sports Activities Laboratory (CIAMS) and has a cross-disciplinary background in sports science, psychology, and sociology. She has held leadership roles in French STAPS (Sciences and techniques of physical and sports activities) institutions and directed doctoral schools for a decade.
- Key research areas: Sports Psychology, Stress Management, Body-Mind Interaction, Extreme Sports, and Doping Susceptibility.
- Collaborated with European Space Agency (ESA), French National Police (BAC), and National Ski and Mountaineering School (ENSA).
- Developed stress management applications with IBM France and pioneered mental preparation diplomas.
Her work bridges atypical scientific domains, including consciousness studies, hypnosis, and sociocultural analysis of athletes. She currently leads international master’s programs at Université Paris-Saclay, focusing on extreme conditions and professional performance optimization.
