Christine Evans is a Professor in the Department of Education at Simmons University and serves as the Graduate Program Director/Associate Professor of Practice for the Severe Disabilities Program at The New England Center for Children. She focuses on teacher preparation for severe disabilities and advises graduate students while supervising practicum placements in private/public schools, including international partnerships in Abu Dhabi.

Her research spans special education, behavioral psychology, and educational consultation. She co-authored key publications on video modeling for developmental disabilities and teacher stress management strategies. Evans leads initiatives in special education program development and consults on evidence-based post-school transition practices for youth with disabilities.
