Christine Abraham

Christine Abraham is a Professor of Voice at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), serving in both the Pre-College and Continuing Education departments. She holds a Master of Music from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts from SFCM. Her teachers include Patricia McCaffrey, Cynthia Hoffmann, Lucille Evans, and Herman LeRoux.

Research & Performance: A renowned performer, Abraham has held principal roles and soloist positions with major institutions including the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. She specializes in Baroque music, collaborating with groups like Boston Baroque and Music of the Baroque. Her discography includes recordings on Signum Classics, Naxos American Classics, Arabesque Recordings, and BBC Music.

Teaching: Accepts students at all proficiency levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) in voice pedagogy and classical singing techniques.

Labs/Teams: Engaged in vocal performance education and opera training programs at SFCM.
