Christine A. James serves as the Fuller E Callaway Chair and Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Valdosta State University, where she has established herself as a leading scholar in multiple philosophical disciplines. Previously, she held Assistant Professor positions at Kent State University and Allegheny College before joining the Valdosta State faculty.
Professor James specializes in the Philosophy of Science with significant contributions to Philosophy of Humor, Disability Studies, and Logic. Her research explores how humor functions in academic identity formation, the philosophical implications of disability in educational and social contexts, and the application of logical reasoning in legal and professional settings.
