Christina Schindler

Professor Christina Schindler is a faculty member at Munich University of Applied Sciences where she serves as Program Manager for the Master's program in Micro- and Nanotechnology and Internationalization Officer. Her academic responsibilities span teaching, research leadership, and international partnership development within Faculty 06.

Her research expertise encompasses:

• Micro- and Nanotechnology systems
• Semiconductor fabrication and thin-film technology
• Microsensor development for energy harvesting
• Biomedical microsystems including implantable oxygen sensors
• Virtual semiconductor laboratory environments

Current externally funded projects demonstrate significant research momentum, particularly the EU-led CHIPS of Europe initiative (2024-2028) addressing semiconductor industry workforce development. These projects provide robust infrastructure for student involvement in cutting-edge microsystem applications.

As Internationalization Officer, she actively cultivates global academic partnerships through double degree programs and exchange initiatives.
