Christina Padrutt

Christina Padrutt is an Associate Professor at Mount Carmel College of Nursing, where she has held faculty positions since 2019. Previously, she served as a Nurse Practitioner at Midwest Internal Medicine Associates and Access Medical Group, and as a Registered Nurse at institutions including The Ohio State University Medical Center and Columbus Community Hospital. She earned her DNP from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2021, following earlier degrees from Northwest State Community College and The Ohio State University.

Her research focuses on mindfulness for nurse leaders, evidence-based practice (EBP) implementation, and clinical topics like hepatic encephalopathy and diabetes management. She has presented her DNP project on mindfulness and led EBP immersion courses at Mount Carmel College of Nursing.

Christina actively contributes to professional development through presentations at The Ohio State University Medical Center and volunteer work at the Vineyard Free Medical Clinic (2021-2023). She teaches graduate nursing courses in advanced pharmacology, pathophysiology, and leadership roles.
