Dr. Christina Kwapich is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Central Florida. Her research explores social insect behavior, focusing on ant ecology, nest architecture, life history evolution, and granivory in Florida sandhill ecosystems. She investigates myrmecophily (ant symbioses) and behavioral adaptations in seed-harvesting ants.
Her recent publications extensively cover myrmecophile interactions across diverse taxonomic groups, including beetles, crickets, spiders, and vertebrates.
