Christina Ivler

Christina Ivler is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portland's College of Engineering. Her expertise lies in simulation modeling and automatic control of flight vehicles, including helicopters, drones, and aircraft.

She focuses on developing standards for unmanned aerial systems through flight controller research, hexacopter testing, and collaborations with NASA on electric multi-rotor vehicles for air-taxi applications and planetary rotorcraft. Undergraduate researchers assist her in simulations, flight tests, data analysis, and technical communication.
