Christie Rowe is an Associate Professor at McGill University, holding the Canada Research Chair in Earthquake Geology and serving as a Wares Faculty Scholar. She specializes in tectonics, structural geology, and fault rocks. Dr. Rowe teaches courses including EPSC240: Geology in the Field, EPSC231: Field School 1, and EPSC540: Crustal Rheology.
Her geological research focuses on earthquake mechanisms and fault zone processes. She leads field studies examining crustal deformation patterns and rock mechanics. Her work advances understanding of seismic hazards and tectonic evolution.
