Christie Le Coeur is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis (CEES) within the ECOVAR group led by PI Y. Vindenes. Her research focuses on developing demographic models to analyze population responses to environmental variability using global databases like COMADRE and COMPADRE. She holds a PhD from the CESCO, Muséum national d’Histoire Naturelle (France), where she studied Siberian chipmunk populations, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Biology, University of Turku (Finland), examining climate variability impacts across taxa.
Her research interests center on life-history strategies, evolutionary demography, and how environmental fluctuations shape population dynamics. Christie employs comparative demographic approaches to understand demographic rate covariances and long-term ecological data analysis.
