Christiane Woopen

Prof. Dr. Christiane Woopen is the inaugural holder of the Heinrich Hertz Professorship at the University of Bonn and serves as Director of the Center for Life Ethics, which she founded in 2021. A leading medical ethicist, she specializes in the ethical dimensions of technology, economics, the environment, and globalization through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research collaborations with academic and non-academic stakeholders.
