Christiane Baumeister is the Lambert Family Professor of Economics and Associate Chair at the University of Notre Dame. She holds dual roles as Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Her research focuses on energy markets, monetary policy transmission, and high-frequency economic indicators, with a methodological emphasis on Bayesian inference and structural vector autoregressive (SVAR) models. She has published in top journals such as Econometrica and the American Economic Review.
