Christiana Zenner is an Associate Professor of Theology, Science, and Ethics at Fordham University's Department of Theology. Her work bridges theology, ecology, and earth sciences, focusing on fresh water ethics, anti-colonial ecofeminism, and the ecological turn in Catholic social teaching. She is affiliated with Environmental Studies and American Studies programs and teaches courses like 'Black Feminisms and Bioethics' and 'Anthropocenes: Sciences, Fictions, and Ethical Futures.'
Education includes a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University (2001), MAR in Ethics from Yale Divinity School (2005, summa cum laude), and PhD in Religious Studies from Yale University (2011, with distinction). Her research explores intersections of religious traditions, ecological theory, and climate justice.
Her publications include the influential book *Just Water: Theology, Ethics, and Global Fresh Water Crises* (2018) and peer-reviewed articles on water governance, Laudato Si', and feminist science studies. She contributes to public discourse through media outlets like the *Washington Post* and TED-Ed, emphasizing multidisciplinary approaches to eco-social challenges.
