Christian Liedl is a PartTime Lecturer at the University of Regensburg's Faculty of Mathematics since 2023, specializing in the fundamentals of mathematics teaching at secondary schools and their practical implementation. He is also a Seminar Teacher for Mathematics at Johann-Simon-Mayr School, State Secondary School Riedenburg, since 2008, and was promoted to Seminary Rector in 2015.
His research focuses on competency-oriented mathematics education aligned with Bavaria's LehrplanPLUS curriculum, teacher training, and classroom play/theatre. He has contributed to numerous educational publications, particularly in mathematics workbooks for secondary schools.
As a practitioner, he has led training sessions for supervising teachers mentoring student educators in Bavarian secondary schools and combines expertise in music and mathematics pedagogy with additional training in computer science.
