Christian Klein serves as a Professor and Teacher-Researcher at the University of Burgundy, affiliated with the Institute of Mathematics of Burgundy (IMB) within the Faculty of Science and Technology. He is an active member of the Mathematics-Physics research team, maintaining his office in the Mirande Building (Wing A) in Dijon.
His research spans mathematical physics with deep engagement in geometry, algebra, dynamics, and topology. Klein investigates fundamental connections between mathematical structures and physical theories, focusing on theoretical frameworks that bridge pure mathematics and theoretical physics. His work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches to complex systems and abstract modeling.
As part of IMB's Mathematics-Physics team, Klein contributes to collaborative projects advancing theoretical research at the intersection of these disciplines. The institute's structure supports his work through dedicated research groups in Geometry/Algebra/Dynamics/Topology and Statistics/Probability/Optimization/Control.
