Christian Häger

Christian Häger is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology. His research focuses on modern coding theory, fiber-optic communications, and machine learning.

• Education: Dipl.-Ing. (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Ulm University (2011), Ph.D. in Communication Theory from Chalmers University of Technology (2016).
• Prior appointments: Postdoctoral researcher at Duke University (2016-2019) and Chalmers University of Technology (since 2017).

Research Interests:

• Applications in fiber-optic communication systems
