Christian Gonzalez Ho is a Lecturer in the Department of Art and Art History at Stanford University. He holds the Jeanette and William Hayden Jones Fellowship in American Art and Culture. His research blurs disciplinary boundaries between art, theory, and architecture, reimagining engagement with these fields. He collaborated with Stanford’s Center for Computer Research and Acoustics, Stanford Live, The Cantor Museum, the Anderson Collection, and the Headlands Artist Residency.
Research interests span African American Art, Architecture, Baroque Art, Contemporary Art, Design History, Fashion, Philosophy of Media, Postcolonial Studies, Renaissance Art, Theory, and Visual Culture.
He is a 2021 M.Arch graduate from Harvard University, with a dissertation in progress titled A history of Darkness.
