Christian Dusny

Christian Dusny is a leading Researcher at the Department of Solar Materials, Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research - UFZ, Leipzig. He holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Biochemical Engineering from TU Dortmund University and completed his PhD in 2014 under Prof. Dr. Andreas Schmid.

Recent publications highlight his work in microfluidic platforms for biocatalysis, microbial co-cultures, and single-cell stoichiometry. His studies bridge biotechnology, bioeconomy, and sustainable ecotechnologies.

Scientific awards include Best Poster Awards at the 2014 SysBio2014 conference and the 2012 BioProScale Symposium.
