Christian Andresen

Christian Andresen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research focuses on Arctic environmental systems, particularly permafrost dynamics, landscape evolution, and climate feedback mechanisms. He employs advanced remote sensing techniques (e.g., UAV LiDAR) and field-based experiments to study spatial heterogeneity in permafrost degradation, hydrological processes, and ecosystem responses to climate change.
