Christa Deacy-Quinn

Christa Deacy-Quinn is an Adjunct Lecturer and Collections Manager at the Spurlock Museum, University of Illinois. She holds an MA in Anthropology from the University of Illinois and a BA in Anthropology and Museum Studies from SUNY Oswego. Her professional role integrates academic instruction with museum collections stewardship.

Her research focuses on:

• Artifact preservation techniques and preventative conservation
• Integrated Pest Management and environmental controls
• Development of open-source radiometers for conservation
• Exhibit design, installation, and artifact mounting
• Specialized packing, shipping, and storage solutions
• Fabrication of custom archival enclosures
