Dr. Chris Roadknight is an Assistant Professor at Maynooth University's Department of Computer Science within the Faculty of Science & Engineering. His career spans academic and industry roles, including positions at Lancaster, Nottingham, and the University of Hertfordshire, alongside work at BT's Advanced Research Group and the National Health Service.
Education and Research: He holds a PhD in neural network-based biological data modelling (2000). His research focuses on AI systems, environmental informatics, simulation, and network intelligence, with contributions to WWW cache performance modelling and ad-hoc network intelligence. He has authored/co-authored over 70 papers (1200+ citations) and holds 3 patents.
