Chris Feudtner is a Professor of Pediatrics, Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and serves as the Director of the Department of Medical Ethics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He holds the Steven D. Handler Endowed Chair of Medical Ethics at CHOP.

His work includes analyzing physician attitudes toward prenatal interventions and developing frameworks for ethical clinical decision-making.
Feudtner's scientific awards include the Stanley Stamm Role Model in Medicine Award, Leonard Tow Humanism Award, and Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Physician Award. He has received continuous funding from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), NIH, and private foundations for his work on pediatric health outcomes and ethics.
