Chris Edwards

Chris Edwards is an Associate Professor at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), affiliated with the School of Clinical Sciences and the Department of Medical Radiation Sciences within the Faculty of Health. He holds a concurrent clinical role as an Advanced Radiographer & Sonographer at Redcliffe Hospital (QLD Health). His research focuses on advancing ultrasound techniques, including shear wave elastography and attenuation estimation, to enhance disease diagnosis and sonography practice. Edwards is a Fellow of the Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

**Supervision**: Actively mentoring PhD students in placental imaging and sonography curriculum design. **Labs/Teams**: Part of the Centre for Biomedical Technologies at QUT. **Outreach**: Advocates for workforce development and diversity in sonography training.
