Dr. Chris Eck serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Leadership at Oklahoma State University. His academic journey includes previous appointments as Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University (2022-2025) and Clemson University (2020-2022), following a postdoctoral fellowship at Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Eck holds a PhD in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University (2019), an MS in Agricultural Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015), and a BS in Agricultural Education from the University of Florida (2012). He is certified in the Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE), specifically in Introduction to Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR).
His research focuses on the recruitment, preparation, and support of school-based agricultural education (SBAE) teachers.
