Chris Cunningham

Dr. Chris Cunningham serves as an Assistant Professor at the School of Library and Information Sciences (SLIS) within North Carolina Central University (NCCU). His professional trajectory spans corporate leadership as Chief Information Officer for companies in Charlotte and Greensboro—where he implemented efficiency-driven technology adoption policies—and academic program coordination for graduate business programs at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

His research concentrates on Biomedical Informatics and Knowledge Mobilization, evidenced by his co-directorship of the Mobilizing Computable Biomedical Knowledge pilot. This initiative leverages his dual expertise in corporate technology management and academic program development to design structured learning plans for biomedical data systems.
