Chris Browne

Dr. Chris Browne serves as Director of the MS in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine Program at the University of Western States (UWS) and teaches in the same program. He previously held a professorship at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), teaching physical medicine, orthopedics, and clinical nutrition to naturopathic students. His clinical practice focuses on neuromusculoskeletal care and nutritional management of chronic diseases.

Education: BA in Psychology (Truman State University, 2005), BS in Human Biology (Logan University, 2008), Doctor of Chiropractic (UWS, 2010), and MS in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine (UWS, 2013). He completed his MS while maintaining a full-time clinical practice.

Research interests emphasize the role of nutrition in chronic disease management, integrative healthcare frameworks, and functional medicine's systematic approaches. His work bridges clinical practice and education, advocating for evidence-based interventions. He has contributed to publications analyzing educational adaptations during the pandemic, highlighting student perceptions.
