Chirag Kasbekar is a Lecturer at the Research School of Management, Australian National University (ANU). He holds a PhD in Organization and Management from Emory University, USA, and previously worked in an IT firm in India. His research focuses on organizational evolution, institutional change, and entrepreneurship, with notable work published in Organization Science and featured in the Harvard Business Review.
Research Interests include Organization Theory, Economic Sociology, and Inter-Cohort Co-Evolution. His 2020 study on postbellum U.S. firearms firms explores how new organizations adapt to legitimacy challenges, while his 2010 work addresses enhancing search result relevance via user judgment.
