Prof. Chioma Daisy Onyige is a Professor of Sociology (Criminology) at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, affiliated with the Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies (BCDSS) as a Senior Fellow. Her expertise spans gender and crime, environmental sociology, climate change, and contemporary slavery, particularly human trafficking.
