Chinwe Ekenna

Dr. Chinwe Ekenna serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University at Albany, State University of New York, and directs the Robotics, Algorithm and Computable Systems (RACS) Laboratory.

Her research centers on intelligent motion planning for robotics and protein systems, focusing on adaptive planning time optimization and topological data analysis. Additional expertise spans Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Computational Geometry, and Computational Biology, with applications in robotic navigation and biomolecular modeling.

As RACS Laboratory Director, she leads research integrating algorithmic innovation with practical robotics implementations, emphasizing computable systems for complex motion planning challenges.
