Ching-Wen CHANG

Ching-Wen CHANG is a Researcher at the Center for French-Japanese Advanced Studies in Paris, affiliated with the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS), starting in October 2016. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Computational Biology and Medical Sciences at the University of Tokyo, with prior academic training in Agronomy (B.S.) and Chinese Medicine (M.S.) from National Taiwan University. Her work bridges intellectual property issues, innovation policy design, and interdisciplinary research in computational biology and health sciences.

Her research explores the knowledge cycle model, analyzing how corporations leverage existing policy systems to control knowledge resources. She is associated with Carnets FFJ, a research blog covering topics such as:
