Chin-Tser Huang is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Carolina's Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing. He holds a PhD and MS from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS from National Taiwan University.
His research focuses on network security, wireless network security, intrusion detection systems, and distributed network protocols. Current projects investigate adaptive channel switching for vehicular networks under harsh weather conditions using machine learning and fuzzy logic systems, as well as blockchain applications for secure authentication and e-voting.
Recent publications demonstrate cross-disciplinary approaches to telecommunications security, integrating weather modeling, reinforcement learning, and cryptographic systems for next-generation networks.
