Chih-Chen Wei

Chih-Chen Wei is a Lecturer in the Conservatory of Music at Chapman University's College of Performing Arts. She specializes in composition, blending Western classical, jazz, Asian folk, and contemporary styles. Her works have been performed globally, including at the American Viola Society Festival, International Viola Congress, and Sound of Dragon Music Festival.

Her research explores the synergy between Western musical practices and Asian aesthetics, with recent projects like the music-dance piece 'The Dream of The Future' premiering at Taipei Performing Arts Center (2023). She also composes for diverse ensembles, including orchestras, chamber groups, and solo instruments.
