Chiel Poffé is a Lecturer and guest FWO postdoctoral researcher at Hasselt University, affiliated with the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences and the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy. His research focuses on physiological processes, including energy metabolism, cellular signaling, and exercise physiology, alongside biomedical engineering applications like tissue engineering.
- Coordinating responsible for Kinesiology Part 1 and Kinesiology Part 2 (2024-2026).
- Member of the teaching team for foundational courses in kinesiology and internal systems.
- Leading research projects on advanced biofunctional characterization of human health (BioFunc, 2025-2029) and muscle platform development for rehabilitation research (REVAL, 2024-2028).
