Chiara Saccon

Chiara Saccon is a Full Professor at the Venice School of Management of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, specializing in Business Economics (ECON-06/A). She holds key administrative roles including Vice-Rector for International Relations, Member of the Observatory of Politics and International Relations (OPRI), and Member of the Senatorial Commission for Non-European Institutional Relations. Her expertise spans international accounting standards (IFRS), consolidated financial reporting, public management, and policing performance. Saccon is actively involved in EU-funded projects like Erasmus+ ICM programs promoting international academic mobility.

Research Interests include supranational accounting regulation, digitalization in accounting, public sector accountability, and the impact of leadership on police wellbeing. She has published extensively in journals like Public Money & Management and International Journal of Human Resource Management.

Teaching focuses on financial reporting, governance, and international accounting at both undergraduate and doctoral levels. Recent courses include 'Accountability, Governance and Regulation' and 'Financial Reporting.'
