Chia Ee Min, Elbert

Assoc Prof Chia Ee Min, Elbert is an Associate Professor at the Division of Physics and Applied Physics within the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He has been affiliated with NTU since October 2007. His academic journey includes a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Auckland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) from NTU's National Institute of Education, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA. He held a postdoctoral position as a G.T. Seaborg Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory, USA.

His research focuses on ultrafast quasiparticle dynamics in strongly correlated electron systems and penetration depth studies of unconventional superconductors. He has contributed over 15 peer-reviewed publications, including five in Physical Review Letters. Prof Chia serves as a reviewer for Physical Review Letters and Physical Review B, and is a member of the American Physical Society and the Optical Society of America. His work bridges theoretical and experimental physics, particularly in quantum materials and nanoscale systems.
