Chetna Vaghela

Chetna Vaghela is the Anglian Water Research Coordinator at the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP), Imperial College London. She facilitates collaborations between academic teams and Anglian Water, coordinates consultancy projects, PhD and MSc research, and teaches postgraduate students in integrated water management.

Her research interests focus on environmental science, particularly freshwater aquatic ecosystems, marine life, and water quality monitoring, with an emphasis on integrating scientific research into policy-making and cross-sectoral collaborations. She advocates for water's central role in climate change and biodiversity discussions.

Chetna delivers postgraduate teaching to students from diverse international backgrounds and prioritizes creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment. She also contributes to the department’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, highlighting her commitment to fostering a positive academic culture.
