Dr. Cheryl K. Gooden is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in pediatric anesthesia, with a focus on sedation protocols and pain management for children. Her roles include serving as Interim Section Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia (2019-2020) and currently holding leadership positions in global health initiatives. She obtained her MD from Temple University School of Medicine (1988), completed residency at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital, and a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
