Cheryl Hosler is an Instructor of Dance in the Department of Performing Arts at Clemson University, where she also serves as Director of the University Dance Company. She founded the department’s dance program and teaches courses including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern Dance. With over 35 years of experience, she specializes in dance performance, choreography, and instruction across academic and high school settings.

Research & Practice: Hosler’s work emphasizes dance education and performance, with expertise in choreographing musical theatre productions and training dance teams. Her career includes 20+ years of high school/college flag line and twirling instruction, alongside ownership of Cheryl’s Dance Studio in Central, SC.
Labs/Teams: Directs Clemson University Dance Company and oversees dance curriculum development within the College of Arts and Humanities.
