Chereece N. Andrews

Chereece N. Andrews is a Clinical Associate Professor and clinical audiologist in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at the University of Houston. She teaches undergraduate courses including Introduction to Audiology (COMD 3381) and Aural Rehabilitation (COMD 4382). Her clinical focus includes pediatric audiology and aural rehabilitation, complemented by providing services at the University Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, a United Way agency.

Dr. Andrews emphasizes hands-on learning and has integrated service-learning projects into her courses, supported by the UH ACES Institute and the Sight and Hearing for Success CITE grant. She pioneered the department's first learning abroad program, COMD Coogs in Belize, and advocates for inter-professional education initiatives.

Her professional memberships include the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Academic accomplishments include sustained leadership in curriculum development and community engagement through grants and international programs.
