Dr. Cheré D. Hunter serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor and Director of the Community Voices Clinic at Lehigh University's Counseling Psychology Program, specializing in high-risk behavioral interventions, foster care systems, and culturally responsive mental health services for racial and ethnic minorities.
Her academic credentials include:
- Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University
- M.A. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
- B.A. from Indiana University
Her research examines trauma's impact on youth development, culturally competent clinical supervision frameworks, and colorism's intergenerational effects on family dynamics, with emphasis on evidence-based crisis management in underserved communities.
