Chenxu Zheng is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Business Information Systems at the University of Sydney Business School since February 2025. His research focuses on the future of work and the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly examining the impact of generative AI on organizations and employees from a human capital perspective. He employs experimental and econometric modeling methods to study societal implications of AI integration in human reasoning processes.

Research interests include AI management, skill development strategies for the digital age, and innovations in digital education. His work has been published in top-tier conferences such as the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS), and the Academy of Management Annual Meeting (AOM).
Teaching responsibilities include the course BUSS4902 - Agile in Business.
