Chenxi Yuan

Chenxi Yuan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Their research focuses on AI-driven design innovation, medical imaging analysis, and generative adversarial networks (GANs). Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University (2022), an M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida (2017), and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwest University (2015).

Yuan’s work bridges artificial intelligence and industrial applications, with recent contributions to LLM-guided conversation systems for healthcare and reminiscence therapy, Alzheimer’s disease analysis via diffusion models, and GAN-based design concept generation. Their research emphasizes ethical AI, interpretability in medical systems, and the integration of multimodal data for decision-making.
