Chengming Wang

Dr. Chengming Wang is a Professor in the Department of Pathobiology at Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. His research focuses on molecular diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance, and vector-borne zoonotic agents. With expertise spanning veterinary pathology, infectious diseases, and molecular biology, Dr. Wang has established himself as a leading researcher in veterinary diagnostics and pathogen detection.

He has pioneered approaches for detecting Chlamydia species, Salmonella serovars, and other significant veterinary pathogens, with a focus on improving diagnostic accuracy and sensitivity.

His extensive publication record demonstrates a clear trajectory from fundamental molecular techniques to applied veterinary diagnostics.
